G-Shock watches are extremely shock resistant because the watch core is supported by several layers of protection. It is as if the core is floating in air. This prevents the transmission of intense shock to the important components of the watch. Test were done on the watches with special oscillating machines to check vibration resistance as well as pressure tested to 100 meters and irregular falls to make sure of there shock resistance performance.
